Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Sitting hear awaiting a diabetic coma/liver failure following the Christmas festivities....

Thanks you to my Secret Santa, I intend to get them done by the new year and post them here.  A definite inspiration for my 6mm Crusades collection and a much needed reinforcement for the forces of Christendom against the Saracen.  (Or more infidels to defile the holy places depending on POV)

Mason and I got a start on our game before being overcome by events.  The overall scenario is a spirited defense of the river ford by the Empire while they wait for reinforcements.  The Bretonnians are attempting to break through and get off the map before being overun.

The initial set-up.  Empire Pike flanked by handguns defend the ford.  A Great Cannon sits overlooking the site from a hill.  A group of Bergjaegers form a skirmish line in the woods North of the river to disrupt the Bretonnian advance.

The Bretonnian Vanguard approaches.  A strong Infantry Force with Knights in support.

The initial movement of the Skirmishing archers attracts a disproportionate response.

The game was suspended in light of dinner, and has been put on hold pending completion of Noel-related activities.  Stay tuned to this space.

  1. I know what you mean - had a great celebration at our home the 24th (our primary event), then to my mother-in-law's for lunch today, then my older daughters for dinner tonight. I'm going to h\ave to go to the gym a lot more often to burn all that stuff off, LOL.

A fine start and good to see the young master being indoctrinated further into a late medieval/Renaissance setting. :-)

    1. His Christmas present was a set of Mouslings (He really likes the Mouse guard books) and a starter paint set.
